The Island
Discover Saint-Barth from the Water
Saint-Barth – officially Saint-Barthélemy – is the most distinctive island of the French Caribbean. Just 25 km², it concentrates more glamour, refinement and natural drama into a tiny landmass than most archipelagos manage across hundreds. From Saint-Martin’s marinas, Gustavia harbour is approximatively 45 minutes away by speedboat – making the day trip realistic and routine. Beauty Charters has been running this crossing since 2005, before and after Hurricane Irma. We depart from any of our marinas across Saint-Martin (Anse Marcel, Marina Fort Louis, Marina Royale, Simpson Bay, Cole Bay, Porto Cupecoy), reaching Gustavia in about 45 minutes, Colombier’s protected anchorage, and Shell Beach for swimming. Unlike the public ferry – which runs on a fixed schedule and stops at Gustavia only – a private boat charter gives you the entire west coast of Saint-Barth: lunch at Colombier, a stop at Shell Beach, then Gustavia by late afternoon for shopping. Every Beauty Charters trip includes a professional captain who knows where to anchor depending on the swell and which restaurant on the beach is open today.
