How to choose
How to Choose the Right Speedboat
With around 25 speedboats in our fleet, from a compact Kiwi 27 for couples to a roomy Axopar 37 for family days, the right choice comes down to three simple questions: how many guests are coming, where you want to go, and how long you want to stay out. Answer those three and the shortlist almost builds itself. Here is how to narrow it down.
Think about your group size
Up to 4 guests: a compact boat like the Kiwi 27 is nimble, easy to beach and perfect for couples or small families. 5 to 10 guests: the Axopar 37 and similar models give you the best balance of speed, shade and deck space for a full day out. 10 to 30 guests: our larger speedboats keep everyone comfortable without losing pace. If your group is bigger, or you simply want more room to spread out and lounge, a catamaran charter is the better fit.
Match the boat to your destination
Anguilla day trip: almost any of our speedboats reaches Anguilla in around 20 minutes, leaving plenty of time on its famous beaches. Saint-Barth: the open crossing is livelier, so a larger hull like the Axopar 37 keeps the ride smooth and dry. Local Saint-Martin coves, Tintamarre and the lagoon: any speedboat works beautifully, and you will spend more time swimming than cruising. For the smoothest long crossings in real comfort, a yacht is worth considering.
Pick your day format
Half-day, around 4 hours: ideal for a sunset cruise, a swim and snorkel stop, or a quick run to a single beach. Full-day, 7 to 8 hours: proper island hopping, several anchorages and lunch on board or at a beachfront restaurant. Most guests who want to see more than one spot choose the full day.
